The Hindu reports that Aviation academy is come up in Tiruchi for training pilots.
As Tiruchians, we no see an increasing number of domestic and international flights along with this new addition makes it a multipurpose hub. Few months back, there was also a talk about making Trichy airport a hub for Cargo carriers. The expansion of runway might serve as a strong dependency for further expansions.
It is good that Pilot training is coming to Trichy.But I understand that there are 4000 trained pilots without jobs today.So, I dont know whether the institute will get good response.
